PORTFOLIO ADMINISTRATOR
BIAS is a full service Investment Management and Advisory Firm
that is seeking an individual to join a team of energetic and committed
professionals as Portfolio Administrator.
Responsibilities and Duties:-
- Assisting Senior Account Executives with the structuring of advisory investment portfolios.
- Ongoing review and rebalancing of client portfolios in order to maintain compliance with a model portfolio.
- Executing securities transactions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Preparing all paperwork necessary to confirm client approval and execute transactions.
- Documenting client transactions in our proprietary management system.
- Preparation of periodic reports for existing clients as well as proposals for prospective clients.
- Fulfilling client service requirements.
Minimum requirements include:-
- A university degree, preferably in commerce, finance or economics.
- Three years investment industry experience and successful completion of CFA Level 1, or
- four years experience with US Series 7, Canadian Securities Course or equivalent.
- Strong written and verbal skills.
- Must demonstrate a strong propensity for 'follow through'.
- Able to work with minimum supervision and willingness to work long hours if necessary.
- Strong PC skills, particularly with database and spreadsheet applications.
